This is 6-foot-2. 310-pound pitcher Ben Ancheff, who attended St. Thomas University. He's looking for a shot at the MLB. Is he too big for the big leagues?

Dudes not even dedicated enough to his own health, much less dedicated enough to be a professional athlete.

I feel bad for his planting leg, just a matter of time before it buckles.

If he can get up into the mid to upper 90's he won't have to make it that far.

If this guy lost weight would his pitching get better? More velocity, better stuff, etc? Just wondering. He must seriously be working hard to stay that fat. The guy, being an athlete, should have a basic understanding of how the human body works. Time for big ol boy to push away from the dinner table if he really wants to go after his dream.

Well that's a dumb statement. For one, LA has highest obesity rate at over 36%. Secondly, over 32% of the TX population is obese, which puts it in the top-10 of lard.
