The FIBA U19 Women’s Basketball World Cup game between Russia and Spain was a little confusing for...well, the players playing in it. It featured a sequence in which it was Spain’s ball, inbounding from the left to the right but no one on Spain inbounded the ball so Russia decides to inbound it and scores a 3-pointer in Spain's basket. Uhhhh...

this has happened in men's international game at senior level too. Its as if some countries best players don't even understand all the rules of American sports. As soon as they inbounded the ball no one on the team realized they were going the wrong way either LOL!

I'd put a couple of balls in her face basket.

BACKCOURT VIOLATION. Shot shouldn't have counted at all.

Funny thing is most of them went with it, including the opposing team defensing her and then trying to inbound the ball. This one happened a few years ago and it still kills me. LINK

How does Russia just get the ball back again? It was originally out on them.

So many frickups on that. The one you should least blame is the shooter.

You can always rely on good fundamentals with the women's game.

Should have been a backcourt violation before she even shot it.

By rule, if you shoot it in the other team's basket, then the score goes to the player from the team that was supposed to be shooting in that basket that last touched the ball.
