How much more difficult will it be for DeBoer to replicate Oats’ success?

Both coaches come from success, but on a much smaller level.
Oats perhaps the biggest surprise hire coming from Buffalo, but with less expectations than the football program.
DeBoer had success at every level, but in a much easier conference at Washington. He’s also following the goat cfb coach.

To replicate Oats success? As great of a coach Oats is, DeBoer will have no issue exceeding his success.
Now, replicating the GOAT? As much pleasure it would give me to see the rest of the SEC's fans faces if that was to happen, this will be a very tall task indeed.
I hope this answers your question, fellow Bama fan and likely a great human being too like myself

So DeBoer needs to make the final 4 of the playoffs once in 5 years?

5 years seems much better than 20-25 years IMHO

Although he is just scratching the surface of his potential, it looks like Oats is going to have the basketball program competing for national championships most every year and is probably now a top 10 program. I expect Deboer to keep Bama football in the top ten for programs in the country. I don’t expect Saban type success, because that’s only been done one other time in the history of the sport with the Bear, but it’s now happened twice at Bama. So who knows

I agree, DeBoer should easily pass that

You can quit being a bitch now. You’ve got Calipari to coach up your gay players.

Nearly impossible. I don't see Bama's football team having any success in March Madness.

That would have been an easy call even a few years ago. But the BAMA B-ball program is taking off in recruiting. We just bested North Carolina, again, for a guy they were willing to pay 2 mil to get. We took a legacy player from them last season in Stevenson a 5-star. We had another youngster just decommitte from Kansas to play for the Tide. Basketball is no different than football, if they come, you will win. And they are coming in droves to Tuscaloosa.
In addition, we have won the SEC twice, been a number one overall seed for the Big Dance, and made a number of serious pushes in the tourney including a Final 4. Our schedule is becoming notorious for playing top 10 OOC games. We just signed a home and home with Illinois yesterday.
Finally, the style of play has gotten everyone's attention. College basketball is played on a very small court due to college dimensions. It's still somewhat slow and deliberate. Nate Oats is spreading it out and running, making the game fun to play and watch. Our latest transfer took less money from NC to play in Coach Oat's system.
