I don't particularly like Clemson or Dabo, but I do admire his stance. He's the sole light in the darkness in this evil world of CFB we live in. If I were a Clemson fan it might piss me off, but as an outsider, I respect his position.

How many people are active head coaches with a national championship ring?

If he’s able to recruit the players he wants and retain them, then he might not need the portal. Most of those portable high ranking portal guys are just looking for the highest bidder.
