A number 3 recruiting class in the country coming in this year probably buys him a year or two probably. Like it or not he’s been killing it recruiting

Naw, he isn’t, but people really want him to be.

A win over Utah will quiet the skeptics. Gata is in luck too: Utah may be without their excellent QB Cam Rising.

Noreel White was suspended tonight for some comments he made disparaging a Vancleave player who died in a car wreck recently. Kid has some serious growing up to do

saw the Tweet he made apologizing for comments he had made and was curious what that meant.

Maybe he will learn something before he gets to us and we have to deal with it.

Yeah the comment was awful and just out of nowhere. I just don’t get dunking on someone who died in a car wreck

4* QB Trever Jackson committed. Oklahoma, UCLA, and A&M were his other finalists.

On3 on his Elite 11 performance:

quote:

+ Trever Jackson flashed one of the strongest arms in attendance. The Winter Park (Fla.) West Orange signal caller is one of the youngest and least experienced quarterbacks on hand, but showed some intriguing upside. Jackson was at his best in drill work on Day 1 and had a solid pro day on Day 2. He faltered a bit in 7-on-7, going 6 for 16 with one touchdown and one interception. There’s no question he has the upside but will need to continue gaining experience to develop.

To you that’s not trolling. Not condoning what he said but he’s also a teenager. Trolling is just provoking someone which this is the very definition.

There’s a difference between trolling and being a piece of shite. Sending a Snapchat making fun of a kid for dying is not trolling.

While it’s undeniably shitty it’s still trolling. This is the natural end to social media and moral relativism people crossing all previous forms of decency.

I’m not sure what you’re trying to point out here I was just relaying that he was suspended for making an awful comment and he needs to grow up. It’s been evident throughout his entire recruitment

I’m being pedantic about trolling because quite literally you made a troll thread and then said you didn’t understand why he did this. It’s a shitty thing to troll a dead person but that’s what social clout does to people.

Half of these kids won’t be here next year and half of them will have disciplinary issues, seems to be the trend. CFB is very volatile right now and gonna take years for dust to settle from all these realignments and NIL. There will be a few key players like your Chipper Jones from the Braves who are a “franchise” player and stick it out for 4-5 years. My guess is this Jackson dude who just committed will be transferred out by next year. Just a guess. This is straight up a semi-pro league now and not an amateur league.

which is why we need more rules/regulations as far as money and transfers. It’s just not the same sport any of us grew up with

Uniform NIL guidelines would be a good start. As it stands now, it's different state by state. In Missouri, for instance, players can start getting NIL money as soon as they sign a LOI. That's a pretty big advantage.

You’re asking for the federal government to shrink a states ability to govern themselves.

We need to stop thinking that there’s some way to “fix” the current NIL situation. That ship sailed a long time ago.

Also, that’s not really much of an advantage considering someone can make money off of their name, image, and likeness at any point. NIL wasn’t created for college sports. It’s always been around. They just finally realized that the NCAA cannot legally stop someone from making money off of their NIL.
