If we had the common sense as you propose, we would not have these 3 choices for our next POTUS
#1 a corporate stooge
#2 a criminal and commie stooge
#3 a dude with a brain worm
USA had a good run but when these 3 are the prospects for next POTUS, we are in decline, not ascendancy.

Well given today's choices, I will vote for the felon over a traitor anytime.
The felony conviction will be reversed on appeal, but the traitor will always be what he is. I fear for President Trump, in banana republics if political prosecution of the opposition doesn't work the regime in power takes more drastic measures. I put nothing beyond this regime. I did donate to a political campaign for the first time in my life last night, took a while because the site was down due to thousands attempting to do the same. My hope is that the traitors woke the bear yesterday. Be one of one hundred million to vote to save the country in November.

My old man and all my uncles served in the Big One fighting Japs and Krauts and since have been anti Red Commies. My favorite POTUS was IKE and he was a bad arse in the real world but a moderate by the standards of the day. Even at my ripe old age I am pretty sure no leftist would be stupid enough to pick a fight with me and get their arse beat down by a person their grandpas or great grandpas age.
