McAdoo was also just downgraded to a 3*. So yep... Hello Arkansas! It's like the opposite of the "Bama boost"

He was downgraded shortly after the FSU commitment so it's not just us. The ratings are fricked this year though. Very little scouting compared to previous years do to covid.

The veil has been lifted on these recruiting services. It's obvious theyre basically basing all their ratings on Nike and Under Armour camps (and blue blood offers) and the actual game film is just secondary.

Clarendon (Ark.) wide receiver Quincey McAdoo has committed to Arkansas. The 6-3, 180-pounder went public with his decision Friday evening at just after 6 p.m., becoming the Razorbacks’ ninth commitment for the Class of 2022.
McAdoo originally committed to Florida State on January 10, just days after former Arkansas wide receivers coach Justin Stepp accepted the same job at South Carolina. He de-committed from the Seminoles last week, which led to a wave of momentum and Crystal Ball predictions favoring the home state Hogs.
In addition to the Razorbacks and Noles, McAdoo holds offers from Auburn, Baylor, Miami, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas A&M, and many others.
According to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite rankings, McAdoo is a highly-rated three-star prospect, the No. 52 wide receiver in the nation, and the No. 4 overall prospect in the state of Arkansas. 247Sports gives him a similar ranking, as the No. 65 wide receiver in the land, and the No. 5 player in the Natural State.
As a junior in 2020, McAdoo played running back, wide receiver, and defensive back for a Clarendon team that finished 7-3 with a second-round playoff appearance.
With the addition of McAdoo, Arkansas’ 2022 recruiting class moves to No. 11 in the nation and passes Alabama and Mississippi State for the No. 4 spot in the SEC. McAdoo is the first pick-up for new wide receivers coach Kenny Guiton, who replaced Stepp this offseason.
The rest of the Razorbacks’ class includes Little Rock (Ark.) Parkview running back James Jointer, Ellenwood (Ga.) Cedar Grove running back Rashod Dubinion, DeWitt (Ark.) tight end Dax Courtney, Maumelle (Ark.) offensive lineman Andrew Chamblee, Duncan (S.C.) Byrnes offensive lineman Eli Henderson, Greenland (Ark.) defensive end JJ Hollingsworth, Springdale (Ark.) Shiloh Christian linebacker Kaden Henley, and Detroit (Mich.) Bellville safety Myles Rowser.
McAdoo gives the Hogs six commitments from their 11 instate offered prospects for the Class of 2022. Two players from Fayetteville High, wide receiver Isaiah Sategna and linebacker Kaiden Turner, have already made commitments to out-of-state schools in Texas A&M and Indiana, respectively.
The rest of the group includes four-star offensive lineman E'Marion Harris of Joe T. Robinson, three-star defensive lineman Nico Davillier of Maumelle, and three-star wide receiver Chas Nimrod of Bentonville.

#Arkansas moves to No. 11 in the nation with the addition of Quincey McAdoo. Highest ranking I've ever covered in mid April. #HawgSports @247Sports

Clarendon wide receiver Quincey McAdoo has flipped his commitment from Florida State to the Arkansas Razorbacks in the span of five days.
McAdoo initially committed to the Seminoles on January 10th but the Hogs stayed consistent in their recruitment efforts. The coaches' and the commits' hard work paid of when they got their first flip of the class on Friday.
Arkansas intends to take roughly three wide receivers in the 2022 class and the Clarendon standout gives them a very good starting point.
The 4-star is Kenny Guiton's first as a P5 position coach and he continues Arkansas's streak of landing heavily recruited wide receivers. McAdoo shined just a few weeks ago in Atlanta:
"He showcased the hands, speed and ability to make outstretched grabs away from his body while being guarded well by an elite defensive back."
Though he may eventually be reclassified as a wide receiver, McAdoo is currently the 16th-ranked "athlete" prospect in the nation, and he's ranked No. 3 in the Natural State with his 4.46 speed.
From his sophomore through junior season, McAdoo earned 12 Division-I offers including Oregon, Oklahoma, Texas A&M and Ole Miss.
The 6-foot-3, 173-pound 4-star is commitment No. 9 for the Razorbacks, joining Rivals250 safety Myles Rowser (MI), Rivals250 running back Rashod Dubinion (GA), 3-star offensive linemen Andrew Chamblee (AR) and Eli Henderson (SC), 3-star tight end Dax Courtney (AR), 3-star linebacker Kaden Henley (AR), 3-star running back Jointer (AR) and 3-star defensive lineman JJ Hollingsworth (AR).

Illinois State transfer John Ridgeway received an Arkansas offer.
He's a 6'6 325 defensive lineman.

If we can beat Texas, LSU, the Mississippi schools Missouri and auburn this year will be a huge success. That would put us at 9-3 with a chance at a 10 win season with the bowl game

No way in hell we win 9 games, but I like the optimism. Now, go get the bag man for the Illinois State D-lineman and then add get a punter and a WR with the Woods scholarships and then go kick some arse.

We got Ridgeway too.
Hell of a day for the DL.
Utsey and Ridgeway.

Amazing!
We’ll actually have the depth to run multiple defensive fronts this year.
