So, once again we're going to lose our big opening game.
Duke does the one and done thing too, yet they seem to perform better than we do with freshman.
Cal cant keep using the "theyre young" excuse if this sorta thing keeps happening.
Not saying fire him but in order to do a good job he needs to win these games more often than lose them
This was a great Duke team, but there is no reason we shouldn't be as good. I know we will be better come February but still we shouldn't be this bad

Well one knock people sometime levy against Cal is that he is a tremendous recruiter but only an average game day coach. Is there something to that? I don't know, I don't follow Kentucky basketball as closely as you folks do.

I'm beginning to think we are on the down side. Recruiting has not been great, 2019 recruits are going elsewhere, and we have players who don't play defense.

Seems we are backsliding.

And I agree with the Cal attributes. Average to below in game coach.

A big part this year is because we're so deep with no outlying great players, it may take a while to find out what rotation works for us whereas Duke knows exactly who's getting the ball. We've got a long stretch before we play any team of significance so we should have the rotation and roles down by then. With this teams ability to shoot, we have a different type of ceiling than in years past which makes me excited.
