I’ve been arguing it isn’t
But the closer we get to this season I view it more and more as Jimbos last chance to be successful before a plan is enacted to find our next coach. This team will have lots of talent and experience. Not Bama or Georgia level but more than enough to compete with everyone else. add in Bobby and I want some success dang it

The pressure is 100% on this season. From comparisons of their win/loss records, draft picks, etc. the Sumlin vs Jimbo stuff gets old, but it does illustrate that Jimbo isn’t getting it done. He was hired to win, and with just one good season in his 5 here, that just isn’t acceptable for what he’s paid. Simple as that. Win 10+ games this year and it’ll be an interesting off season as we try to figure out if his seat is cooling off. But even getting back to 8-4 won’t buy him any goodwill.

Precisely why I’ve said his minimum acceptable record this year is 9-3. And those 3 losses better be GOOD losses, too. No blowouts, losses to OOC tune ups, or to schools from fricking Mississippi.

Those Mississippi schools really do have our number. It’s insane, 9-3 is the absolute floor imo, and I agree it better be some damn close losses

I tried some the other day. It was fine. I'd never choose it. An actual DP float with homemade vanilla is 10x better.

Well gentlemen, the rivalry is back! No more talk, it’s time for action!
2024 is probably the most favorable schedule I’ve seen in awhile, our #1 all time recruiting class will be a bunch of juniors, and it’ll be a 12 team playoff. It’s nut up or shut up for Jimbo in 2024. If he can’t deliver this year or next I’m done with him
