I believe Sandler movies are pretty massively popular on Netflix and generate millions of views. If you look at his box office numbers even prior to NF, he's one of the more bankable stars of the last 30 years really. Not sure what your gripe is...that you don't personally like his movies? Well tons of other people seem to, so what exactly are you mad about?

I like his movies though, I realize they will never be happy gilmore or mr. deeds good, but I watch them not trying to compare and they entertain me

The Sandler movies have made a frick ton for Netflix. It has been a great deal for them.
