Not everybody needs that shite as much as others.

If you need more interaction, you should go look for it but forcing others to do it is really stupid and will never work. Those days are long gone.

It is interesting how people have convinced themselves that being alone 24/7 is preferable to having people around. I also am happy to work from home and not have to deal with people in person but I don't know if it is really good for me in the long run.

Humans are social creatures. Our society had already been shedding traditional places of community before the pandemic (work, church, shopping, school are examples). The pandemic accelerated all of this and will have implications on our health as a society. I get plenty of all this, but I lived decades as an adult prior to the advent of WFH, online school, Amazon, and American families abandoning church. It’s not healthy for people to spend so much time alone.
