Very few polls release the party affiliation breakdown of the people who are polled but the ones that do always have 5 to 10% more Democrats sometimes even more. Some polls provide multiple breakdowns but omit party affiliation of the voter. They will provide date on the prefrence of voters in each party on a topic but absolutely refuse to release how many voters aligned with each party.

The publicized polls are worthless. The internal polling of the campaigns are the only ones that matter. That's how you know the Dems are sunk if they were foolish enough to stick with Biden. If he's topping 20% in real metrics, I'd be shocked.
They'll likely go through the pantomime of the Dem. Convention, but something "tragic and unexpected" is going to be announced between then and Labor Day and they'll say that Biden isn't going to be able to be the nominee.
There will be a week or so of very concerned hand wringing in public discussion, and then they'll parachute Michelle Obama in, in September, "even though she hasn't had aspirations to be President. She's willing to do this to serve her country."
Maybe she'll be proud of it again.
