In baseball LSU is the standard like Bama football. It's becoming super apparent that NIL is evening the playing field in all sports. Bama doesn't have some huge collective in baseball so winning some of these series against the teams they have shows the potential but Alabama still has to get a lottery. Alabama has great high school baseball, probably better than its football but we are still playing with one arm tied behind our back. I would love to see what Bama baseball could do with 25 in state guys on lottery schollies and use the 11.7 to fund the out of staters instead of everybody on the team being on 30 percent scholarship. They would become one of the super powers in college baseball and Bama would get more than 800 fans to show up at games. The crowds this weekend were awful as they have been all season.

Question for LSU fans:

What do you guys do in real life?

Every LSU fan seems to think just because their team has won championships somehow they are champions too.

Probably because LSU grads don’t accomplish anything in the real world.

That isn't how any of this works.

LSU has 11 players from Louisiana on their 35 man roster, one of them being a transfer from...Alabama who didn't play this year, two others don't play and one already left the team. I'm not going to say it's a non-advantage, but it's not the advantage states without lottery funded scholarships make it out to be. Mississippi doesn't have a lottery either and they have done just fine as programs over the years.
