This was a thing long before Sabana arrived. One could reasonably argue that it's a reason Saban chose Alabama when he fled from the NFL.
So yes.

YES... it's the Law of the Medes and the Persians and cannot be altered

Here's how it works in the SEC regarding Bama. If you lose to them, it's because the Refs cheated and the announcers were for Bama. If you win, it was a fairly called game (especially when Bama gets 17 penalties)and you liked the announcers. So, the answer to your question depends on whether you win or lose.
Certain teams, LSU more than any other, will never lose a game to Bama that they don't blame poor officiating. This also spills over to their basketball, baseball and softball programs. I suspect Texas will be about the same.

We will also continue to teach our linebackers how to facemask and nearly break a neck without getting flagged AND taking out Texas QBs - deal with it

It was LSU who wanted the SEC office in Birmingham.

I know you're new to the conference but that's not how it works. We have a summer REC meeting in August where key officials are invited and we negotiate how much to pay them to get the right calls. The SEC office isn't involved. We pay them separately to get favorable in game reviews.

Hopefully holding and other bs calls for Bama is done, but I doubt it. They know how to persuade refs the best I've ever seen.

I'm sure fans will continue their tradition of calling everything a hold when half the time it's really not.

Alabama says they will stop as soon as Texas does.

If the OP is indicative of most Tejas fans, they’ll be besties with LSU fans.

I love all the conspiracy theorist on this board. I am sure also that the moon landing was fake and isn't even real, the government killed JFK, COVID 19 was engineered by the media, the earth has been sucked into a black hole, Disney created Frozen as a distraction, the Denver airport is the illuminati headquarters, the world is flat, the earth is hollow, Prince Charles is a vampire, Bigfoot is real, and the Nazi's have a secret headquarters in the Antarctic, Zombies rise from the dead, and we are all living in the Matrix. Seriously, some of you guys are either off your rocker, completely dense, or just love to stir up your own sXXt!

I see the whorns are pussies like the Louisianans.
It's good to see that OU hasn't made up a bunch of excuses for losing before even officially joining the conference.

REC also told them we’d do Horns Down any time we felt like. SEC office said yes sir
And thus , open season on Horns Down and we may tell the SEC
to outlaw Hook'm Horns. So Texas can just shut the frick up.
