And everyone always counts the next years class. I didn't make that framing, it's the way it's done. And it's within that same framing that you are trying to claim 39 and that's why it's bullshite.

Everyone counts "ranking at the time of the game" toward ranked wins but you only count "ranking at end of season" so it seems as if that argument is a bit hypocritical.

Until then, it's a bullshite stat that only LSU fans cite as an excuse for his underwhelming results.

I don't think his results have been all that underwhelming, he has the second highest win percentage in the conference after taking over a team that went .500 two seasons in a row.

Regardless, the statement that he only had 40 or so scholarship players when he took over is factual.

Even though he hates LSU, I don’t understand his issue with accepting this fact.

—The same guys that ridicule LSU for having 40 players for the LSU Texas bowl are the same ones that;
—ridiculed the 2021 LSU Teams that only fielded about 65% of a roster during the Alabama game are the same ones that;
—ridiculed OSU in 2021 for only winning five games then go on to;
—claim 2*21 as a juggernaut year.

When you use time of game rankings it gives a false impression of team strength. It's only good for things like historical trivia. It is NOT a good way to show how good the team actually was for the year when used in arguments in that context.

I use end of the season rankings because it provides a more accurate picture of what happened.

Just like everyone includes their incoming classes in their scholarship counts because it provides a more accurate picture of their situation.

The only reason you would have an issue with either is because you want to claim bullshite.

Bragging about being #2 in something is on point for LSU.
