They were saying on the pregame coverage last night that Calipari was contacted to vet other coaches initially and then it turned in to a what about you conversation. I’ve seen it said that happened after Beard turned us down but no clue if that’s true or a guess.

Hard to believe we’d have all our money aligned with Beard or Wade as early as last week. Too much baggage.
