Embarrassing the SEC is backing your way into the NIT because teams declined bids. Then, getting a home game against a team you beat earlier in the year on a neutral court and getting completely dominated by that team to make an early exit in a 2nd tier tourney.

We got Izzo’d. Shoulda seen it coming. This core group of players deserves credit for getting State back in the tourney two years in a row, but their deficiencies on offense capped their ceiling. Good enough to make the tournament, not good enough to win in it.
But a lot of them are gone now. Jans gonna have to build around Hubbard and Matthews for next year and do some work in the portal.

Ouch, that one stung a little. The joys of being a Mississippi State fan. At least we have baseball now, what the hell am I saying, we'll probably get swept by ATM this weekend.

Spent the morning driving through Oregon and Utah. Kind of glad I missed the game now. Doesn’t look like it was ever close. I’m sure they are disappointed.
