How much time are the " give Kingston time" fans willing to watch, our once elite program, fall further and further behind. Our play is extremely inconsistent and our recruiting is worse than it's ever been. Hoping it gets better is a joke.

I mean...we are 5-4 in conference. On pace for 15-12 going into the last series. Thats in line for a host spot. The SEC is far better now than it was during Tanners time, and winning on the road is hard.

Against top 16 (because that is where Bama is) we are 4-4. (top 5 Clemson 0-2, #3 Vandy 3-0, Bama 1-2). We made a super regional last year, and I still maintain the post season will determine Kingston's future. Tanner used to say, Win your series at home, and don't get swept on the road and you will be fine.

in SEC play from 04 to 09 Tanner in SEC play won 17,16,15,17,15,17 in conference. So it's not like Ray was always winning the SEC in the regular season, and we hosted in those 3 of those 6 years.

I know I am making an extensive case for a guy who has not had a ton of post season success, but I just think it's not productive to be yelling "Fire Kingston" after every loss. I want to see how this team continues to play

We aren't talking about a new coach the man has been here 7 years and we haven't sniffed that city in Nebraska once . His recruiting classes are the worst SC has had in decades but let's " see how it plays out".
