I'll be damned, Wilmsmeyer on the bench

Tygart knocking down a sure DP dribbler ends up costing 3 runs.

Wood in a high leverage situation

3 innings 3 walks 5 earned for Tygart. Not surprised just turrible.

He gives me the most anxiety out of our starters (including the midweek guys).
His command is nonexistent, hits too many batters, allows too much traffic on the basepaths, and has to be bailed out by his defense too much.

Maybe he needs to be back in the pen and Molina moved to Saturday, Gaeckle moved to Sunday.

What’s frustrating is Brady’s last two starts prior to this one were his best 2 all season.

Gaining Diggs doesn't mean much if we lose Aloy in return. He's cooled off.

DVH is burning the shitty midweek pitching to save arms from tomorrow

Don’t look now but Souza is slumping big time.
With his 0-3 day today, he’s now 3-28 (.108) with 15 strikeouts in our last 4 SEC series. He's been fairly undisciplined at the plate and strikes out a lot.
At this point I'd rather Helfrick be our DH when he's not catching. He has nearly as many walks (4) as Souza (5) in a third of the AB's.

quote:Yeah I’ve been looking. He hasn’t looked good at all lately. Think he might fall out of the postseason lineup altogether. That would be a very DVH type of move considering he’s a freshman.

I like this. Especially with how much Mac has dropped off.

Either way they are running out of time. The bats aren't going to come around, not consistently at least.
And Tygart isn't ever going to be consistent either.
Still feel like this team is ripe for NCST 2.0 in a super.

Rowland at DH is certainly a choice…

DVH looking for a hot bat for subpar pitching

I don't mind Wilms on the bench at all, but what in the hell is Rowland doing DHing?

And that's Rowland?

He did have a hot bat in the midweek game
