You’re an idiot. I’m happy you get to go to the playoff, but you can frick off with that shite. We are not on the same team

All this bullshite FSU talk comes to a dead halt right after Georgia takes their lands and smothers them in tuberculosis blankets.

Nothing about this is intangible.

”Other relevant factors such as…..” shouldn’t be part of decisions like this. That is CRAZY unclear and arbitrary.

Even strength of schedule is a metric at least one degree removed from wins and losses.

The committee following their own bogus rules doesn’t justify it’s own existence.

Yeah that means nothing. It’s easy to find ignorance.

Believe me, I know. It's all over this board by the Bama fans.

Someone needs to take a stand against our flawed system. I can think of no better way to pressure the committee to dissolve itself. Make your bed, now sleep in it.

To be clear, I think Alabama and Texas would beat FSU. I do not want to watch, care about, or be a part of a sport that is based on intangible metrics, money, and feelings.

Take the knee.

The drama around this playoff is more fun than the games will be.

It is karma. ACC commissioner Jim Phillips is one of three power 5 commissioners who fought against having the 12 team playoff format this year. He made his bed, FSU can lie in it.

Gonna be hard for FSU to pull a UCF if they purposefully lose their bowl game, but sure.

Oh it goes back farther than that. Let's look back at the 1993 season:

undefeated Big 8 champ Nebraska
undefeated Big East champ West Virginia
1 loss ND (who beat FSU)
1 loss FSU

Guess who got to play Nebraska in a de facto title game?

FSU has to beat Georgia to prove they belonged.

They will not be able to do that.

This is turning into a national exposure of how Bama operates.

Bama is looking like a total shite-stain in this situation.

It is not a true playoff anymore.

It is the ESPN Invitational.

We should just go back to the original system where sports writers vote who should be national champion in early December before the bowl games are played. After all, they shouldn’t have to work during the Holidays.

Do we want the best teams or has college football become a group of soccer moms who want to give out participation trophies?
I'm not saying these are the best 4 teams but I'm confused what everyone wants.

The result isn’t the issue. The methodology is.

Define the rules that we are playing by before the season starts and stick to them. Having any sort of human element to decide the playoff is insane.

Rules based on anything other than results (W-L) on the field should be avoided unless there is a consensus before the season starts.

Fair enough. Frankly the biggest issue is 5 power 5 conferences any only 4 spots. Idiotic system but it's what fsu and others conspired to get this year. I just have no sympathy at all.
SEC wanted an expanded playoff this year.

I think that you have bought into the ESPN narrative that FSU is not a high quality team without Jordan Travis.

That is total BS when their 2nd string QB will be ready to play in their next game.

Bama simply stole FSU's playoff slot with the help of ESPN. The motivation is simply about GREED.

This would prove nothing, except tarnishing their undefeated season. Maybe instead of taking beta advice from you, they should show up and try to lay the wood on UGA to prove all the doubters wrong. That's what men would do.

Speak for yourself. I bought into no narrative. I have eyes..it's easy to see Bama (and Georgia) are far superior teams to FSU and that'll play out when GA handles them easily.
You don't disagree and that's fine. 4 spots with 5 conferences was fricking stupid to begin with.
