Orgeron left a mess. He had a few good wins in year one and its only year two. Might take another year but he will get it turned around they guy knows what he is doing.

Kelly is a good coach and will keep LSU in contention in a tough SEC. He does need a new defensive coordinator, but he is in fabulous recruiting territory, and even goofy guys like Coach O and Les won natties there.

Kelly is a good coach. He's got a super high floor and will almost always have a solid football team.

The biggest mistake Kelly has made is having significant success in year one. Fortunately most of the naysayers aren't in any position to cause him and heat on the backside.
Dude is a good coach in a recruiters dreamworld. He will have LSU contending more often than not.
I have always been of the opinion he was a helluva hire. LSU allowing Daniels back in the Bama game after taking one play off after the nature of the hit and Daniels immediate reaction on the field is disturbing....especially given the situation in South Bend where a student was killed at football practice. Kelly may be completely free of blame in both instances but it is not a good look.

Yes. For two years he is fielding a competitive team. Just losing to Saban once and two tries with LSU talent, the sky is the limit for LSU football.
