Gonna be a tough game. But once again, it’s a quality opponent/brand with a young up and coming coach. Seaton Hall beat UCONN. That alone should have been good enough to make the NCAAT. This game is HUGE for the program. Go Dawgs!

Didn’t we beat Seton Hall in the regular season within the last several years?

I watched abotu 2 minutes of them yesterday and they looked good, but one thing I notcied was their gym was pretty small looking and close quarters, almost like a HS or cameron indoor. I can imagine that being a massive home court advantage, especially since as the 1 seed they haven't gone on the road in the NIT yet. I didn't realize they'd beaten uconn as you said, so I checked out their schedule and it's about what you'd expect; great at home and iffy away. Some of the notable contests:

-First half of the year mostly beat who they should and lost to some teams you might expect them to.
-They did beat uconn at home which is one of the better wins on the year
-From what I can tell they only played 2 true road games prior to January and they lost both by an average of 19 points. One of them was to the Xavier team we jsut beat
-Conference play kept hte same trend. Beat a lot of teams at home including some good ones (marquette, creighton) but struggled on the road.
-They beat MU at home by 3 but lost to them on the road by 18. They beat Creighton at home by 3 in 3OT but lost to them on the road by 21. They beat Uconn at home by 15 but lost to them on th road by 30.
-Then as the 1 seed they've gotten 3 home games against overmatched team.

Honestly I feel a lot better about this game after looking at their schedule. They are, VERY clearly, a different team away from home, and they haven't played away from home in a while. Meanwhile we've beaten the 1 and 2 seeds, both on their home court, in the last 2 games.
