Man some of y’all are super optimistic on how much shite the BMAs will be willing to eat on that contract. I don’t think he’s getting fired until it’s at least half of what it is now so long as he has a winning record.

Rip the bandaid analogy. What's better: saving a little money on his contract by waiting for the buyout to drop lower a few years down the road after more 5 to 8 win seasons, but also having Kyle with empty seats around and donations slowing up, or: pay the higher buyout, start fresh and re-energize the fanbase with renewed interest and support?

You act like there arent any other monetary factors besides Fisher's contract, sure its the "elephant in the room", but there's a lot more at play besides the buyout that has to be considered.

I'd argue they'd "eat more shite" by letting the shitshow continue if Fisher keeps reeling off 8-4 or worse seasons. Sometimes you just have to rip the bandaid off. And I bet that will be the route if the time comes.
