Yea I think I'm coming in to ATL from New Orleans for that one. That will be an absolute nuthouse for that game.

I mean, good for Atlanta, but just an awful list of US host cities. Kansas City is the only city on that list were the USA might have any kind of home field advantage.

What cities would’ve been better?

Columbus, Minneapolis, Salt Lake, etc. I get it isn't supposed to be based on where the US would have the best home field though.

There will be an absolute shite ton of US supporters in Atlanta. So what if other countries have supporters in Atlanta or another city?!? They’re all big cities. It comes with the territory.

How are these better?
And against which countries would the US not have home field advantage in the other ones?

In their group? England, for one. If they play England in NYC, Boston, Atlanta, etc... then the crowd split will be fairly close to 50/50.
I'll spell it out plainly. When the USA plays home games, I want them to be in places that are more difficult for foreign fans to get to and not in places where there are high concentrations of foreigners. There's a reason why Columbus is their favorite place to play home games that matter against Mexico. What you don't want is a repeat of that 2018 WCQ against Costa Rica in New Jersey. The crowd split was embarrassing and whoever made the call to play there should have been fired.

If those folks love Mexico so much - well, vamos vamos mother frickers. See y'all. Same with Costa Rica, etc.
Sure must be nice to come to our country and then cheer for your shithole previous country in our amazing stadiums.
Some of that is on the USA fans too. It's just not as popular of a sport. I can 10000% assure you this wouldn't happen if it were Football, etc. We allow those shitbuckets to act like that.
