I also read OJ’s and he was guilty as hell and still got off.
The mayor will realize all the bad press and for the common good of the city PR wise, it will be dropped to a minor traffic ticket and a “misunderstanding”. Scotty will say I’m sorry and thats going to be the end of that.

Allegedly, the officer is now telling people that the vehicle "struck" him despite Darlington's eyewitness account that he "attached" himself to the vehicle.
Sounds like Scottie misunderstood what was going on and the officer overreacted.

Here’s 2 clips piggybacked that explain it. He never ran over this cop it seems the cop attached himself to the side of car somehow.
Like has been said they will drop all but a minor ticket once it shakes out (or drop all). Cop was on a power trip, probably wanted to get home and eat some hot pockets.
