The guy that followed the man that followed the man that was another legend at Bama wasn't all that great. Decent. Not great. I mean the next man up after a legend usually has to be from that family tree since obviously the thought process is could be just as great since maybe he is a prodigy or something. That myth hardly ever pans out so then you go get someone as far removed from the legend as possible but when that hire flames out then you are like, lets go get another coach from the family tree and cross our fingers this one works. So, you almost need about 3 levels of separation to get completely passed the legend.
